25 July-12 August 2007 Celebrating its 56th year, Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) presents the most diverse & immediate range of contemporary cinema in the country & engages the biggest cinema-going audience. With approximately 80 percent of the films screened being Australian premieres, you get to see it first at MIFF & be the one to give your friends the heads-up. MIFF screens over 300 films from Australia and around the world – comprising feature films, documentaries, and short films. Films are screened at CBD venues, including ACMI (Federation Square), Forum Theatre (Flinders Street), RMIT Capitol Theatre (Swanston Street), The Regent Theatre (Collins Street) and Greater Union (Russell Street). |
